The Power of Prayer
Out of God’s great love for us, He gave us a way to touch His heart. Prayer is the most powerful and wonderful tool we have. Prayer request doesn’t cost anything. There is no problem no matter how great or overwhelming that cannot be solved by praying.
Many Christians are using prayer request thru the internet as a way to ask for God's help. There are many prayer request websites. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre has a prayer request site. This is the church where Our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and buried. The monks, priests and religious will respond to your prayer request without asking for anything because of their love for Christ.
Prayer request |
You can ask for something as intangible as faith and forgiveness from God or for healing from a painful and fatal disease. You can also ask for the grace to recover from addiction or mental illness. You can ask for prayers for yourself or for others. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre may be the closest existing connection of your sufferings to the sufferings of Jesus.
It may take time to touch God’s heart. Remember you are invoking the Creator who created the universe eons ago. He creates simply by willing. Do not forget that you are invoking that Will. He created everything that we cannot and will never understand.

He created you. He loves you in spite of yourself. His love delights when people pray for each other. God especially loves to answer the prayers of holy and loving souls. Using the internet for prayer request is a good way to employ technology to beg God for help.
Praying for others and with others, even if we are strangers, is one of the things that pleases God because our prayers are joined in unison.
